U2’s groundbreaking album Achtung Baby is celebrating its 20th birthday next month.  It’s yet another classic album along with Ten, Nevermind and the Use Your Illusions that came out in 1991.  Not only is Achtung Baby my favorite U2 album it’s one of my favorite albums of all time.  It’s up there with Appetite, Born to Run, Led Zeppelin II and  a couple others.  It was ahead of its time then and I think its still ahead of its time now.  Give it a nice listen, you won’t regret it.  Then download the new AHK-toong BAY-bi covered album that Q magazine has released.  Every track is covered by a different great artist including, NIN, Depeche Mode, The Killers and Jack White who does an amazing version of the closing track Love is Blindness.  Check it out here.
